Being a lover of food I am always on the look out for unique dining experiences whenever I travel abroad and even where I live. I am an extremely picky eater ( yes we all hate those types of people) I eat most meat however I absolutely hate seafood or sushi and I don’t like eating any game meats like Rabbit or Boar or Duck for example….so living in the Czech Republic whose cuisine is extremely meaty can be a little tough sometimes which is why I was so excited to try out Bisos!
Located in the vibrant and trendy neighborhood of Zizkov in Prague sits this small and elegantly styled restaurant that is known well for its delicious tapas dishes and take away picnics. Only Bisos isn’t your traditional Spanish tapas place – no its a Sardinian tapas restaurant with an array of sublime Mediterranean dishes ready to be devoured and a fantastic selection of Sardinian wines that go perfectly with the selection of small but perfectly proportioned tapas dishes they have on offer.
BISOS – “THE DREAM”
With an array of different tapas selections each day, Bisos makes an ideal place to enjoy lunch or a dinner with friends. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and are a great help in deciding which tapas to choose from. Sardinia is known to have a very fishy cuisine so I was a little worried at first that I wouldn’t have much choice but I was delighted to find a great selection of salad type tapas (my favorite was the yummy beetroot tapas!) fish tapas and a few meaty ones too (try the Ragu one! Oh man!!)
We found it reasonably priced, not too expensive for the quality of fresh food and service you are provided. We will definitely be visiting again! They even have a take away tapas picnic which can be pre-ordered and enjoyed in one of Prague beautiful parks on a summers day with a cold bottle of prosecco or Sardinia wine!
