Welcome to this week’s Bucket List Wednesday – a feature where I ask a fellow travellers about their Bucket List to inspire you with Bucket List ideas for your own list! If you would like to take part please get in touch – email@example.com or @A_wanderluster – I would love to for you to get involved!
This weeks travellers are Sam & Pete from Travelling King. Travelling King is a luxury travel blog that focuses on affordable luxury travel and fun tourist attractions. It’s their mission to see and promote Luxury travel and all that it has to offer, through their own personal means and their website. Sam and Pete are both from Adelaide in Australia where they are currently located. Both of them work full time and travel when they can.
So Sam thank you for participating in this feature. Let’s get started! How many things do you have on your Bucket List?
My bucket list seems to grow on a daily basis, I would love to visit Uluru and experience a sunrise in the desert, go back to my home country Zimbabwe, walk the Great Wall of China, Fly business class, ride on a bullet train, stay at the Ice hotel in Sweden, watch turtles hatch and run for the ocean, sleep in a castle, spend New Year’s Eve in Sydney, Australia. I don’t know if others will think these are cool but to me they are!
New Years Eve in Sydney is one on my list! It’s a must do! 🙂 What is at the top of your Bucket List?
That’s a really difficult question, walking the Great wall of China was very high on my list and we got the opportunity to do it in October, as well as flying business class. (whoot whoot!)
That’s a great achievement! As for flying Business Class….I can imagine it was a great experience! What made you choose walking the Great wall of China as such a priority?
I’m not really sure, I have always thought that I would love to see the Great wall of China, something built so long ago, with so much history behind it and while we were in China on a holiday in October we thought we can miss out on the opportunity to see the Great wall.
Are there any languages you would like to learn?
Not really, I have enough trouble with the English language – ha ha!
I don’t blame you:) What people you would like to meet or perhaps have lunch with? Any childhood heroes or celebrities?
Good question, I have never really given it much thought, I’m not a huge fan of any celebrities. But I wouldn’t mind sitting down and having a chat with Henry the VIII, he seemed a little eccentric or if it had to be someone alive then I guess I would love to meet Hugh Hefner, other than being a party animal he seems like a really nice genuine person (I loved the “girls next door” TV series).
Interesting choices! 🙂 What things have you seen other people do or accomplish and you thought, “Wow, that’s pretty cool! I’d love to do that!”?
Sky diving and bungee jumping although I think I would throw up and pass out!
Both are on my list however I have yet to pluck up the courage too! Finally, how many things on your Bucket List have you achieved so far?
Aside from The Great wall of China, Pete and I went zorbing (which is where you get into a giant ball of water and go down a hill – so much fun!) Pete also went on a Jet Lev which is a water jet pack strapped to your back (I was too sea sick to do it), flown in a helicopter (twice), saw the Eiffel Tower and so much more!!
I can imagine flying in a Helicopter was a great experience and as for the zorbing…I hope to find somewhere I can try that out it looks like heaps of fun!
Its been great getting to know you and your Bucket List Sam! Thank you for participating in my feature! 🙂 If you’d like to follow Sam & Pete and their adventures across the globe while they ticks off their growing list then you can connect with them on the below links!
